Comments : A paperback verson of the popular 2001 original.

Comments : A potted history of the first 50 years of the Bromsgrove, Redditch & District TTA. There are lots of tales and yarns of this minor Worcestershire League. Not especially successful in terms of great players produced or trophies won, but it seems like a lot of friendly fun. How many hundreds of other leagues must be like the BRDTTA.

Comments : When I ordered this book I expected to receive a treatise on the mental or physical agility of dinosaurs, to discover if they had some sort of ability to indulge in a form of sport. What I got was a children’s book of dinosaurs showing them taking part in fishing, cricket, dancing etc. Nor really what I had in mind.

Comments : Basic techniques well presented with some sketched diagrams to aid the learning process. Most of the advice offered is very dated and the references are to players like Barna, Bergman, and Tereba. I feel the advice might be better received had it come from Boll, Samsonov or Waldner. No photographs.

Comments : A good book for introducing the game to schoolchildren, and full of tips and hints for the aspiring coach. Endorsed by the English Schools TTA.
Author : Jens Fellke
Comments : A biography of Jan Ove Waldner, the most successful player of modern times. There is no doubting of the Swede’s credentials to being amongst the all-time greats, but I have a problem with ‘ The greatest player in TT history’. Nevertheless, the book is interesting and informative and well worth the read.

Comments : A follow up to the highly successful TT fascination of 2001. This time it covers 2001-2003, but it is equally as vibrant and exciting as it’s predecessor.

Comments : A new coaching manual with 304 pages for the able bodied player and a further 110 pages for the players with disabilities. A massive work here and well presented but very, very basic. The first edition in English was produced in 2004 and then revised in the same year, a French language version followed, and then a Spanish one. 2006 saw a revised English one and in 2007, a sixth revised edition was published in English. I have chosen to list just the Sixth Edition.
