Comments : What a load of rubbish! Avoid this junk. The authors know little of Table Tennis and the list is complete nonsense – the best ever at No3 is Fukuhara Ai, – Ma Lin is at 91, and Lin Ma is at 11???

Comments : Basic book for beginners. Not at all bad. But some silly errors – Ping Pong Diplomacy was not because political leaders played TT with each other.

Comments : The latest of the long running series. The quality of the photos are, as always excellent.

Comments : Mildly amusing fiction from one of the top US Coaches. There are a few interesting and thought provoking passages but I paricularly liked the term ‘launch’ to describe what we would call the service. I appreciate that Sci – Fi is a world-wide success,, but it doesn’t really appeal to me.

Comments : I am fed up with saying wonderful photographs! How about marvellous?
Author : Samson Dubina
Comments : A good read and thoughtfully planned. It has a few tips on topics I have never seen in print before, such as, ‘Slump Busting’, You are a loser’, ‘Sleep Positioning’, ‘Beat the Wheelchair Player’, and not forgetting ‘The Table Tennis Breakfast’ menu. And there are several more not often found in coaching manuals.
Author : Sam Priestley & Ben Larcombe
Comments : I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. There is a lot of good advice to be gleaned, from the experiences of Sam in the story of his attempt to become an expert in only a year of practise and tuition.
Author : Danny Seemiller
Comments : Very readable story of the rogue player who went on to be a US Champion and then became USTTA President.
Author : Howard Jacobson
Comments : A stage play adapted from the best selling book by Simon Bent. I have not seen the play but having read the book and found it very funny, I will make a point of visiting any theatre in reach when I see it advertised.
Author : Klaus Geske & Jens Mueller
Comments : New edition of the 2009 German original. Now contains advice on service returns and Doubles play. Good book.
